AACD’s mission is to advance cosmetic dentistry by encouraging the highest standards of ethical conduct and responsible patient care.
The AACD offers the only continuing education credentialing program in cosmetic dentistry. It normally takes two to three years to complete all the requirements in order to become accredited. Through its accreditation programs, the AACD offers the most stringent and respected postgraduate certification in cosmetic dentistry. Accredited members are recognized as professionals dedicated to constant improvement of their skills, knowledge and to making the benefits of cosmetic dentistry available to a wider range of people.

In addition, the Academy’s annual Scientific Sessions allow practitioners to exchange new ideas and receive meaningful, contemporary information on the latest in clinical procedures, cosmetic practice development, and self-enrichment.

Dr. Ellicson has always been involved in the community through various programs that allow him to give back to the Valley. He is involved in the “Give Back a Smile Program,” in which he provides free consultation and dental treatment to individuals who have been victims of domestic violence. This program helps restore smiles, which in turn, helps these survivors regain their self-esteem and dental health.
